I joined Navis Consulting in July 2013, and the last 12 years have seen me gain significant experience in recruiting across a range of maritime markets, from commercial shipping to seagoing roles. However, my true expertise and where I pride myself as the go-to recruiter is in the marine insurance and maritime law sectors. My dedicated focus within the insurance and legal markets began in 2017, and the last 8 years have featured glowing testimonials from many industry leaders. My dedication to providing the best recruitment service in this market earned me a coveted nomination by the STR Group and a shortlisting for ‘Best Permanent Recruiter’ at the REC Awards 2024. Due to the niche nature of the marine insurance and legal markets, I’m able to use my intricate understanding of the specific skills sets and needs of my clients and support them on a global scale. Based in the UK, I have a significant presence in the London market, but equally recruit extensively in Asia, notably Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as East Coast US, and Europe. I work with insurers, P&I clubs, law firms and in-house positions for shipping companies. Outside of work, I’m a proud father and husband, a keen marathon runner, and a big football fan.
